The Illinois Association of Drainage Districts was formed in January 1995 as a grassroots organization.  The association is governed by nine board of directors across the state of Illinois who also serves as their local drainage commissioner.  The association pride itself as being a volunteered organization who success revolves around honest, sincere, practical people who dedicated their talents to promote and protect drainage in Illinois. The IADD annual meeting is held during the annual conference in January of each year.
